In this companion episode, Dr. Christopher R. Matthews walks us through a series of excerpts from Nick Crossley’s Intersubjectivity: The Fabric of Social Becoming (1996). Chris also provides us with screenshots of his own copy of the book so we can follow along with the text and see Chris’s approach to reading theory.

I thoroughly enjoyed both companion podcasts with Christopher Matthews. Conversations like these help me reconnect with my deep love of education. I have scarcely been happier than when I was in college, continuously challenged intellectually and always learning. I am moved somehow by discussions like these and am left with a longing to revivify my own intellectual life. Intersubjectivity, liminality, interactionism- are like courses in a favorite meal not eaten for far too long. I think my mind is hungry. Thank you both.
