I recently learned about the Silicon Valley Innovation Challenge (SVIC), an event that promotes creativity and entrepreneurship from San José State University students, alumni, faculty, and staff. The SVIC provides an opportunity for students to network with prospective employers, and they can win cash prizes for their entrepreneurial ideas. I am particularly interested in the social innovation category of the SVIC, so I will definitely attend to learn new ideas about processes and products that can improve the common good.
