Kristin Haltinner

Kristin is a fifth year graduate student in the department of sociology at the University of Minnesota.  Having taught over 30 courses, Kristin specializes in teaching about race, class, gender and social movements.  She currently teaches at the University of Minnesota, St. Catherine University (MN), and Century College (MN) and has previously worked as an adjunct instructor at American University (DC) and Howard Community College (MD).  In her tenure at the University of Minnesota, Kristin has won two department teaching awards: the Graduate TA Award (2009) and the Graduate Instructor Award (2011).
