Perry from the University of Oklahoma on his co-authored book The Flag and the Cross: White Christian Nationalism and the Threat to American Democracy. Dr. Perry discusses his intellectual background, the role of race in Christian nationalism, and explains how to prevent the ‘Big One” in light of the 2024 presidential election. In addition to The Flag and the Cross, Dr. Perry is the author of various books including Growing God’s Family, Addicted to Lust, and Taking America Back for God and his research has been featured in The New York Times and The New Yorker.
