Allison Nobles

Allison is a PhD candidate in sociology at the University of Minnesota. She is currently the managing editor of TSP, section editor for Discoveries, and curator of the gender and sexuality topic page. Allison’s research covers sexuality and gender in a variety of spaces. Her dissertation focuses on how social context shapes learning about sex and sexuality. She has also done work on female judges’ experience in Rwanda post-genocide, gender violence in the Darfur genocide, and domestic violence law in Minnesota. In her free time, Allison enjoys swing dancing, ultimate frisbee, and playing in the snow.
