Jessica at Scatterplot notes the difference between the BBC coverage and the U.S. coverage of a recent research report noting that the real gender gap is between men who believe men should be breadwinners and women homemakers and everyone else (men who believe women and men should share in both breadwinning and homemaking, women who believe the same, and women who believe that they should be homemakers and men breadwinners) (i.e., at msnbc). Yeah, but the subhead on the BBC piece contradicts its headline, so let's not be cheering too loudly. It goes from 'this is decidedly sexist' to 'these men may be labeled old-fashioned but they'll have the last laugh.'

Have you seen any commentary on the actual substance of this study? As one of the nontraditional men I was interested in seeing whether the result is due to incentives, oldboyism, or just demographics.
