Oh, bullshit. Should they have put a gay couple and a lesbian couple on there, too? This obviously wasn't meant to be offensive in any way, and wasn't meant to promote heterosexual couples. Seriously, this is nitpicking.

Maybe it is Ellen in her tux and Porche in a slinky dress... or maybe the woman is leading the man because she has more common sense. How you see it informs us about you, not always who made the sign , of course, our society influences both aspects.

The graphic is open to interpretation... Seen from another viewpoint, it's a pretty clear communication to direct purse snatchers toward the best escape route. :-)

I totally agree with anonymous. It's obviously not meant to offend anyone here. Perhaps in other parts of town they DO have signs with same sex couples, but I don't think this sign is trying to make a "statement" of any kind.
