Where are people buying these pants? All I can find is pants with stupid pockets. I don't want to put bulky items and bunchy fabric on the fattest part of my body.

Love the Simpsons reference.

"Click to embiggen." I love that. (If it's the Simpsons references the person below this comment mentioned, then I didn't get it though).

And skirts don't even get the fake pockets!
The worst offender in my wardrobe, though, is a BLAZER. A blazer with fake pockets, and no real pockets anywhere on it. Clothing designer, YOU FAIL AT MAKING JACKETS FOREVER.

From tops and pants to shoes and underwear, girls clothes subordinate the practical to the decorative.
just the way it is...

Funny.

sometimes the clothes have real pockeds "sealed" with thread so they look nice when peolpe try them on in stores but when you buy them you are supposed to remove the sealing thread and open them. If you don't, they look as if they are fake. Of course there are lots of women's clothes with just decorative pockets

I think it is a conspiracy to force us to buy purses personally...

I was at Target yesterday. I saw a lone woman enter the men's department looking through the various pants on sale. Luckily I had my gun on me and told her to keep on walking.
FOR THE PATRIARCHY.

I'm a woman who wears ladies' clothing and have never experienced this. All of my pockets are fine. I have pants from Eddie Bauer, LL Bean, and REI, mostly. I guess those brands are different.

why are they blocking the sidewalk?
that is not cool.
girlpockets are annoying and bad, and many guys too feel the pain being pressed into porterage of keys and tickets and cell phones.
however stopping to grope in the middle of a public thoroughfare is a serious nono.

Even worse, inside pockets in jackets have ceased to exist, at least on H&M

Well, women usually carry purses around, so they don't need huge pockets. As time goes by, though, men are discovering that a personal bag is way more useful than pockets. Nowadays we carry around a lot of stuff: cell phones, tissues, ID, driving license, wallet, a lot of different cards, chewing gums, condoms, what have you. I think it would be more sensible for men to start using a purse rather than for women to turn to pockets.
Let's not fall in the same old error: women trying to behave more like a man, while men should try to behave more like women do.

isn't THAT the truth. At least there's some good news ...there are ways around it... (my name here may give you a hint ;) ...while true it's not so much for your hands, it's easy to now safely & hands-free carry your cell, ID, cards, lipstick, tampons, inhaer, insuli pump, Epipen.+....
