Men's hairstyles are generally much less labor-intensive to cut, and I haven't heard of a stylist tell a woman she can't get her hair buzzed or cut short.  They could have worded it differently as "simple" or "complex" but that might confuse potential customers.  Aside from the dollar-and-one-cent disparity in discounts I'm not sure how this is objectifying.
