Lisa recently posted about Abercrombie Kids selling push-up bikini tops (though I just went to the website and they seem to have removed the “push-up” description). In another example of encouraging pre-teens to sexualize their bodies, Meghan L. sent in the clip “You’ve Got Snooki” from AOL Video in which Snooki, from Jersey Shore, does a makeover on an 11-year-old girl, since you’re “never too young to look bangin'” or to start thinking about how you look to boys:

... "Bangin"?!
Lori — March 27, 2011
I don't think the girl enjoyed that makeover. Her face has "WTF" written all over it.

She knows "banging" derived from "banging" as a reference to having sex, right? like...To Bang, bangable, etc. yeaaaaa....

That's messed up. However...is it bad that I find Snooki totally adorable, no matter what she does?

WTF is AOL thinking? This shouldn't be allowed. I'm so shocked, and dissapointed in all the people who produce this and think this is alright.

well there is no way I would want any 11 year old I know looking like that
Nijuro — March 27, 2011
Could I have looked bangin when I was a pubescent boy?
Cause I wanted to. ;_;

So which one was the 11-year-old?

I think you guys are taking this too seriously... its a joke. In fact I wouldn't take anything involving "snooki" seriously, she's a non-celebrity that is only famous for being someone that people love to hate and filming her doing anything is usually meant to make her look stupid. Everything from the massive hairspray blast, to her final look (which makes the kid look vaguely like one of the mafia wives from Goodfellas) makes this feel like a big joke on the very idea of "snookifying" a kid.
I certainly don't find the video all that amusing, but I don't think that the people who made it are endorsing any of it.

So I kinda though this was funny, almost as though Snooki is parodying herself. She starts out by saying that the 'volunteer' is "beautiful" as she is, pre-Snookificiation. On the other hand, way to judge women's value by their looks.
I saw it more as being like when the babysitter did a 'makeover' for you...you'd never actually wear this out of the house, but it was a little glimpse into another world.

Huh, that's odd. I've seen that before, but I could have sworn I saw it here.

Hm. It's pretty obvious that Snooki herself is treating this as a joke; the general consensus is that the Jersey Shore cast is a pack of idiots, but I am relatively sure that they can read and know that the majority of the population is mocking them, especially Snooki. Especially since this makeover appeared to take only a few minutes (Snooki and the other girls on the show obviously take a LOT of time to get their makeup on and hair done) and she herself isn't wearing the poof. However, I want to wonder if the 11 year old girl comprehends that it's a joke; there are adult women who put full makeup (not just a touch of sparkly lip gloss) on girls as young as 4, and I know that there are 11 year old girls who get up at 6 in the morning to put on this much makeup (and tight jeans and designer purses and heels) just to go to school. At that age you really want to look grown up, which isn't inherently wrong, but there's also kind of a lack of awareness of what is too much and what is or isn't appropriate in certain situations (and where this type of look is appropriate...is never a place that's appropriate for an 11 year old!). I don't think that Snooki is actually intending to teach this, but let's hope Jessica's parents also are reasonable, and the she was let in on the joke!

So if she gets gang raped by 18 men... it's her fault right.. for looking "bangin/bangable". Nothing like teaching our girls their only value is in the way they look and how "bangable" they are, and if they DO look "bangable" it's all their fault for "dressing like they are in their 20s" when and CERTIANLY not the rapists fault nor the fault of the media for telling 11-year olds that they even need to LOOK 20!

The girl is adorable before Snooki's make-over and I truly hope she's confident enough in herself to know that. Forget looking "bangin'", she looks RIDICULOUS after the make-over. Why would ANYONE do that to themselves?

the official height cutoff for midget, according to Little People of America, is 4'10.. So I consulted the Google, and come to find out Snooki is 4'9, i.e. an according to Hoyle midget.

they are the same size.

When writing American papers, we not only need to value the content, but also the format is crucial. It can be said that format is one of the most basic requirements of a paper, equivalent to fluent language and correct grammar. If the format is chaotic, even if the content is good, it cannot be considered an excellent article. However, a paper is a type of homework for international students and is not considered a formal academic paper. The format requirements are not strict, and there are certain differences in the requirements of different schools. When writing, everyone should follow the requirements of their own school. Below, the editor will introduce the format requirements for America Essay ghostwriting http://www.emwchinese.com/usessay shared by a certain student. In fact, most schools have the same format requirements, which you can refer to.
