The silhouette of the turkey in this ad is interesting to me - notice how much smaller the breasts are than those on today's turkeys?

Do people really put those little paper hats on the end of the turkey legs? I want to know where THAT tradition started. It seems weird, however maybe as a Canadian and a vegetarian I just don't understand.
