Mihai L. sent in a Romanian commercial for wafers that suggests that women have been slowing down progress and re-writing history since the cavewoman days!

And that's not just some random advertisement -- it's good ol' Nestlé.

On the plus side, I learned from the YouTube comments how to say "extrem de misogina."

yes, that's right! It was a woman who got a man kicked out of Eden! It was a woman who broke up the Beatles! And yet another woman who broke up the Sex Pistols!
I really f--king HATE and LOATHE advertisers, they are the ones who spread SEXISM and keep the fire of misogyny BURNING by brainwashing viewers that women are to be blamed for everything.

But if misogynistic commercials have taught me anything, it's that when teh wimmins talk, men don't actually listen! It's just a rush of words about shoez, how she hates her bestfriend and how fat she is! Yet, in the world of this commercial, the men are actually listening to the women, without their eyes glazing over and their brains shutting off! And then they actually follow that advice!
My mind! It is blown!

Woooooooooow. Just wow...

Did you really just start off a tirade against hate by white washing an entire business sector and talking about how much you hate them? As long as the discourse is on this level, women lose.

Um...
Thing One: the penny-farthing bicycle was invented by a man (James Starley). And notice that what he's got drawn there is not a bicycle— I believe that's called a "velocipede" (no pedals). Talk about rewriting history.
Thing Two: I don't know if it's just a poor translation or what, but I had to watch that thing three times to even begin to make sense of it (what does money have to do with choco wafers? why is drawing a cavewoman a setback?).
Thing Three: Irony much? The only sense I could see is that all of these men had to get their seed money from women. In which case, their ducats helped humanity progress.

The theme of the ad was compromise. Would there be a large uproar from commenter's on this website if the roles had been switched or both male or both female?

It is really easy to create an ad in which you made a fun of some group (women, gay, people of colour, rich, poor, etc.)
It's just lazy but the bigger issue is the attitude towards reaction.
If you complain, you are portrayed as humorless which means that humor is not something that is natural but is constructed in very specific way from specific people which have the right to define it. (Usually, white, middle-class dudes).

Hey Nestlé! You realize a large percentage of your customers are women, right? And that it was a woman who invented chocolate chip cookies? You know, the product you're kind of famous for? Perhaps you just forgot.

Logically, if women had been rewriting history and making changes all this time, this sort of sexism wouldn't exist.

I believe in equality and fairness and if somebody needs to be thought of an equal to somebody great and they just so happen to be a woman, who cares? Back when women really couldn't publish and had to use pseudonyms or other people to write books for them they created some of the most technologically advanced and groundbreaking leaps towards the prosperity of humans and the longevity of life. If everybody had the drive and intelligence like Ada Lovelace then I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have meant very much but the fact that in an era where women were sparsley educated and highly scrutinize of their intelligence and their abilities without the male counterpart suprized all, and it's breakthrough was astounding The fact that it was a woman was revolutionary. The first computers were actually women. A computer is somebody who computes and men were unable to really calculate so quickly and efficiently so as computer science and computer technology has advanced women have been part of the history. We need to come up with a conversation with males who are misogynistic and females who are feminists and really have some impactful words that can help each other see from each other side I'm not saying either is correct because usually one extreme or the other is not the answer for all times for the rest of History. It was between some form of Socialism and some form of fascism or Republican back and forth and if we're going to situation where we need to be more militarize and conservative about things then why wouldn't we? if we are in a time where we need to be more social with each other and compassionate and equal then we have to be able to go from one to the other peacefully but the middle is the fairground not always correct but it's a good rule of thumb. Nobody should be subjected slavery or being a second-class citizen or anything that demeans them and puts them at a lower status as fathers it's a self-fulfilling prophecy if you say that one group is never going to cheat him much as the other. And if the reason behind the ignorance is intentional and meant to keep the status quo then so much shame should be placed on those individuals that do it. The human species needs Innovation and discoveries and the new clear idea of where to go for our futuristic endeavors and continuing the status quo and letting the billionaires control whether or not people can make enough money to start a new business and innovate a new product makes it so the entire Society is kind of stifled. So for example what if I had the big new idea but I didn't get a high school diploma but I have a great idea that could revolutionize industry and technology and Society but Jeff Bezos Mark Zuckerberg Bill Gates would lose, because of future innovation half or most of their business. If you are on the coin side that says that profit is above all then them doing everything in their power to stop me from being able to achieve my goals would be not wrong but looked at American capitalism 101. While somebody who is more educated in economics and history and human nature overtime and physics and all sorts feel as if the wealth is becoming stagnant and the government is having to Print more and more because it's just sitting in bank accounts of billionaires accumulating more money for them and divvied out by the bank to do business that furthers the interest of the banks and then lost in Corruption somewhere. Or when giant announces money get printed and then it all goes right to the top through company means it's going to mainly enrich the bank further so if somebody doesn't really truly believe in some of the stuff is in the current system like how the banks hold all your money and how we pay for are vehicle after we pay for it and continue to pay for it and has blindly been bamboozled with a police state over us instead of being free citizens it's all a racket to continue to take money from innocent and gullible people instead of informing them and empowering them to be able to be financially well and not make that mistake and them be able to invest in something that face your is right and we did not really put two and two together that people are stealing our money. But when almost all of the world lives off of less than $50 a day aside from if you have to pay rent and car payments and things like that just normal everyday expenses in America people can survive off of less than that in other countries it's drastically less but YouTube inflation and currency translation $50 a day is probably about equivalent to $5 a day over in some of those countries that are economically unstable but somehow all of the money that was there in the first place seems to start to accumulate to the very top and won't move and now we have all these billionaires that have all this money accumulating and they're working on aircraft space and all this other stuff I know that if I was a greedy billionaire who has a huge business that controls a lot of the world then if I have large large groups of people trying to take money from me or violently through things or things that are unpalatable to me then it may cross my mind to fly up to the Moon to colonize and keep myself away from the riffraff that are a danger to me no I wouldn't really think that but I'm just putting my mind in the mind of a rich capitalist who believes what I'm doing is correct. I think it's very scary that we are okay as a human civilization with these people spending billions of resources on something as trivial as a rocket that'll take them to the moon and saying it would be some kind of a tourist attraction or something of the sort do I think that we can get there oh yeah I believe that we can colonize every part of this universe and analyze it and collect all the data that we possibly can so we have the most practical and full understanding of the universe but I think that we're getting a little too head of ourselves he believed that we could do that before we actually fix the Human Condition which is our biggest problem in every way. The human condition causes death what causes negativity lack of morality and animalistic Behavior and overtime usually gets worse if untreated and neglected we need to fix how we all communicate with each other we need to fix how many women react with each other and their chemistry and we need to fix our hearts and realize that we are all equal and we're all family and we are all necessary.

My apologies my phone seem to have mind of its own for a second and copied one part of what I was writing and put it in a completely different part without me pressing it. Too bad it makes me look like I am unintelligent or illiterate or not really worth reading what I write. Hopefully this problem will not continue.
