In addition to the commodification of women, this harms men by promoting the stereotype that men are simpletons who only like pizza, beer, and sex with women.

Oh dear. I'd like to note that the cashier appears to be female (the earrings) and she looks rather (and rightfully) disgruntled.

I'd give up my left foot for a night with two women, beer and a pizza.

Women are objects, just like the pizza, to be purchased, consumed, and enjoyed. They are people, or indivuals, or equal to men.
As an aside, God, that artwork is hideous.

Is this a professionally-made advertisement? Because I read better-drawn amateur webcomics.

HUGE SIGH.
Can someone please just make a list of the companies I don't have to boycott? Seriously - can someone?

WOW. Really? Get some creativity. The whole boobs, pizza, and beer thing is so played out.

I also agree that it not only is it a prime example of the misogyny sanctioned by society in general, but it is a design disaster.
I don't think I would have taken the time to notice the message of the advertisement if you all hadn't have kindly spelled it out to me. The image is not at all eye-catching. At first glance, all I saw was "group of people and objects" and didn't understand how any of it had to do with what men wanted since my attention hadn't been drawn to anything in particular.
Well.. on the upside, the women don't seem to be particularly skinny and the cashier is wonderfully androgynous!

gah. i can't help but notice the tagline: For All Mankind.
really? are sure you didn't mean "All Men?"
Sam R — October 6, 2009
"For all mankind" - because all women are bisexual. Didn't you know? /sarcasm.
depresso — October 7, 2009
The all mankind thing inadvertantly highlights what feminists have been saying forever about gendered language. 'Mankind' ignores women and this bunch (who will be gone in a year or two; the men's magazine market is shrinking in the UK and the lad's mag is passe now - men are turning to Men's Health and the likes now) just illustrate that deliberate ignorance. So in a way, thanks for proving the point... what's their name again?
