The smaller text says,
Every hearts on fire diamond is cut and polished at 100% magnification to guarantee a life of intensity.
I honestly don’t know what we’re supposed to get out of this–that buying this ring will bring so much passion and “intensity” to your relationship (by setting your “hearts on fire”) that there will be no reason to stray? That buying her a ring will turn her on so much that the sex will be fantastic enough to satisfy him? I really don’t know.

Monogamy to the hundredth power? Really?
For some reason that concept really weirds me out. Does being extra-super-ultra monogamous mean you have no friends or something?

This ad is appealing to the cultural ideal of monogamy with a nice round number combined in a math-like "equation". Notice the change between upper and lowercase letters. Buying this ring to attach to your woman, asserting your ownership of her (don't for get the ear rings!)is a "smart" thing to do. It "guarantee[s] a life of intensity." If you give your woman this ring she'll think you are monogamous, after all, how could you afford a ring for all of your girlfriends? In short the illusion of monogamy can be bought, and it's this ring (ear rings help, after all a diamond is a girl's best friend!)

The Hearts On Fire diamond is the world's most brilliant diamond, cut to maximize sparkle, fire and scintillation- creating a diamond that shines with a light from within.
The white-hot brilliance and red-hot fire contained in a Hearts On Fire diamond will capture the heart, creating sparks and sensations unparalleled by any other diamond. A Hearts On Fire diamond ring stands out on any finger; its brilliance and prismatic spark will catch every eye.
I love it......

Where were these diamonds mined? Who had to do the work to get these? Are they blood diamonds? Also...passion and sex are not the keys to a happy marriage. They are a very important part, but commitment/intimacy/trust/etc. have to be there first.
