Obama SO won that debate. Clear and square and fair. “That one” won, hands down. But don’t take my word. Check out the reaction groups from Fox, CNN, and CBS. HA!
Still annoyed about Sarah Palin’s behavior at the VP debate? Then enjoy this little tidbit: Gwen Ifill on Meet the Press says: “Sarah Palin blew me off.”

Oh yeah, Palin totally went off into her own little world during the VP debate.
If Gwen thinks she was blown off, just think how Brokaw felt when Obama kept saying "Me! Me! I want to reply!" and McCain started whining "Well if HE gets to reply then I get to reply too!" I felt like I was watching two kids fight.
P.S. Hi Deborah, I'm a soon-to-be contributor at the Upstate Upstarts Blog you inspired! I wish I could have been there to meet you. :)

I'm so glad to hear from Gwen! Thanks for the clip! Compared to Brokaw, Gwen was a totallyexcellent moderator, because she just played it completely neutral: no distractions from the plot on the stage between the two speakers. And so we were able to see that Palin was totally disrespectful to Gwen and by proxy to the audience.

I agree, and it's also very refreshing to see the media acknowledge afterwards that Palin really didn't answer a question-- and to hear it said straight from Gwen. I'm also really glad to see that SNL clip making the rounds, because if Palin's complete disregard wasn't obvious before--it sure is now.

Yeah, Virginia! I really appreciated how Gwen stuck to the debate. Brokaw just...gave in. Leaves me wondering what the last debate will be like. A fight to the death, winner take all, perhaps?

Welcome, Sarah! And YAY for the Upstarts! Wish I could have met you too - you all are off to a great start.
Re the clip - Queen Latifah as Gwen Ifill was LOL...

Sarah, Sheepishly I admit excitement that the final debate will be a brawl. It looks like it might be ... intense. McCain is melting down, economy is tanking, Obama is staying cool, and just suggesting, "say it to my face," Senator McCain. See http://talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/223051.php ....
