Du Bois"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In this episode, <a href=\"https:\/\/drangelajones.com\/\">Dr. Angela Jones<\/a> joins us to read from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gutenberg.org\/files\/408\/408-h\/408-h.htm\"><em>The Souls of Black Folk<\/em><\/a>, the 1903 W.E.B Du Bois classic work of social theory.<\/p>\n<p>This is the first of a new type of Give Theory a Chance podcast where contemporary social theorists introduce us to the specific passages that inspired them and help us make sense of the text.
