In all seriousness, I created SociologyInFocus to help you teach your classes. Think of the site as a timely sociology micro-reader. We use current events like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sociologyinfocus.com\/2013\/08\/21\/egypt-social-control-social-cohesion\/\">the unrest in Egypt<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sociologyinfocus.com\/2013\/07\/15\/we-live-in-many-americas\/\">Trayvon Martin Verdict<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sociologyinfocus.com\/2013\/07\/29\/flippin%E2%80%99-the-script-on-anthony-weiner-blurred-lines\/\">Anthony Wiener<\/a> to illustrate sociological concepts for an intro level student audience. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible to teach sociology as it happens.<\/p>\n<p>Plus we make it easy to assign the articles to your students. Each article ends with four \u201cDig Deeper\u201d questions that you can have your students answer either as <a href=\"http:\/\/socsource.s3.amazonaws.com\/SocInFocus\/SociologyInFocus_ExtraCredit.doc\">extra credit<\/a> or as <a href=\"http:\/\/socsource.s3.amazonaws.com\/SocInFocus\/SociologyInFocus_SupplementalReading.doc\">supplemental reading<\/a>. The four questions can also be used to start a great class discussion.<\/p>\n<p>We are a team of dedicated teachers who want to help spread the ideas of sociology to as wide of an audience as possible. We\u2019d be honored if you included our work in your classes.
