The &#8220;10 countries where people spend less than 100 minutes eating and drinking each day have, as a group, consistently shown higher economic growth than those that took more than 100 minutes to savor their daily repasts.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9122\" title=\"eatquickly\" src=\"https:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/socimages\/files\/2009\/05\/eatquickly.jpg\" alt=\"eatquickly\" width=\"600\" height=\"350\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/socimages\/files\/2009\/05\/eatquickly.jpg 600w, https:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/socimages\/files\/2009\/05\/eatquickly-300x175.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/>As before, the statistics are far from conclusive, but the data continues to invite a discussion about food and culture.<\/p>\n<p>It also invites a discussion of atheoretical data analysis.
