The likelihood of nepotistic opportunism was related to class, generally climbing with the father&#8217;s income.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/socimages\/files\/2014\/11\/210.png\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-64994\" src=\"https:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/socimages\/files\/2014\/11\/210-500x425.png\" alt=\"2\" width=\"500\" height=\"425\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/socimages\/files\/2014\/11\/210-500x425.png 500w, https:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/socimages\/files\/2014\/11\/210.png 552w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is just a &#8220;snapshot,&#8221; writes Matt O&#8217;Brien for <em>The Washington Post<\/em>. It&#8217;s just one year. If we consider whether men have <em>ever<\/em> worked for their dads,\u00a0the numbers get much higher. More than a quarter of men spend at least some time working for the same company as their fathers\u00a0before their 30th birthday.
