Here\u2019s the lede:<\/p>\n Despite its Biblical inspiration, Paramount\u2019s upcoming \u201cNoah\u201d may face some rough seas with religious audiences, according to a new survey by Faith Driven Consumers.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n The data to confirm that idea:<\/p>\n The religious organization found in a survey that 98% of its supporters were not \u201csatisfied\u201d with Hollywood\u2019s take on religious stories such as \u201cNoah,\u201d which focuses on Biblical figure Noah.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n The sample:<\/p>\n Faith Driven Consumers surveyed its supporters over several days and based the results on a collected 5,000+ responses.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n And (I\u2019m saving the best till last) here\u2019s the crucial survey question:<\/p>\n As a Faith Driven Consumer, are you satisfied with a Biblically themed movie — designed to appeal to you — which replaces the Bible\u2019s core message with one created by Hollywood?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n As if the part about \u201creplacing the Bible\u2019s core message\u201d weren\u2019t enough, the item reminds the respondent of her or his identity as a Faith Driven Consumer. It does make you wonder about that 2% who either were fine with the Hollywood* message or didn\u2019t know.<\/p>\n You can\u2019t really fault Faith Driven Consumer too much for this shoddy \u201cresearch.\u201d They\u2019re not in business to find the sociological facts.
