Is it pro-U.S. military propaganda?<\/p>\n If it is, it’s nothing new. \u00a0Ben Ostrowsky<\/a> sent us\u00a0this World War II-era\u00a0propaganda poster. It was\u00a0part of a series<\/a>\u00a0produced by the labor union and corporation-led\u00a0War Production Board<\/a>\u00a0in 1942. \u00a0The aim was to engage as many civilians and companies in weapon production as they could. \u00a0“Santa Claus has gone to War!” it exclaims. \u00a0Maybe he needs those fighter jets along for the ride after all.<\/p>\n Since 1958, the\u00a0North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) has entertained kids with an annual Christmas-themed Santa-tracking program. \u00a0Kids keep an eye on where in the world Santa is delivering his gifts and everyone thinks it’s jolly.
