And as we&#8217;ve seen in the past, Americans tend to way &#8212; <em>way &#8212;\u00a0<\/em>underestimate <a href=\"https:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/socimages\/2011\/08\/18\/perceptions-of-inequality-in-the-u-s\/\">how unequal the U.S. is<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This video (via <a href=\"http:\/\/www.upworthy.com\/9-out-of-10-americans-are-completely-wrong-about-this-mind-blowing-fact-2\">Upworthy<\/a>) does a great job illustrating the distribution of wealth, and how it compares to Americans&#8217; perceptions of both the real and ideal distribution.
