A while back readers absolutely fell in love with a vintage Lego ad from 1981<\/a>, featuring a red-headed befreckled girl in pigtails and overalls. \u00a0It, and two more in the series<\/a>, reminded us that advertising doesn’t have to impose rigid gender stereotypes the way that\u00a0most<\/a> advertising<\/a> today<\/a> and the newest Lego marketing strategy<\/a>\u00a0certainly does.<\/p>\n
