Start with the first in the series and follow the links to the remaining four <a href=\"https:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/socimages\/2008\/05\/18\/why-and-how-people-of-color-are-included-in-advertising-first-in-a-series\/\" target=\"_self\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I am now discussing <em>how<\/em> they are included.\u00a0 Already I have shown how people of color are <a href=\"https:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/socimages\/2008\/12\/06\/how-and-why-people-of-color-are-included-in-advertising-6th-in-a-series\/\" target=\"_self\">whitewashed<\/a>. Here I show that, when people of color are included, they are often chaperoned. That is, people of color are usually outnumbered by white people.
