Among those who reported more than one race, the vast majority listed two. Here are the most commonly reported combinations:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/socimages\/files\/2011\/03\/multiple-races-2.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-2\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-34801 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/socimages\/files\/2011\/03\/multiple-races-2-500x344.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"344\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/socimages\/files\/2011\/03\/multiple-races-2-500x344.jpg 500w, https:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/socimages\/files\/2011\/03\/multiple-races-2.jpg 763w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>AIAN = American Indian\/Alaska Native, NHPI = Native Hawaiian\/Pacific Islander, and SOR = some other race.<\/p>\n<p>Laura E. pointed out that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newgeography.com\/content\/002153-census-2010-offers-portrait-america-transition\" target=\"_blank\">New Geography<\/a> posted some maps based on 2010 Census data.
