Which wasn&#8217;t so bad! He was only out-performed by 15% of his class: 5 B-pluses, 2 A-minuses, and exactly zero As.\u00a0 In contrast, a whopping 33% got a C or worse.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/socimages\/files\/2011\/01\/00_JFKgrade1.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-32640\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/socimages\/files\/2011\/01\/00_JFKgrade1.jpg\" width=\"526\" height=\"787\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It turns out, JFK was already benefitting from grade inflation &#8212; the slow shift in the average grade point average in higher education &#8212; even in 1940.
