Of course, cleaning products are almost entirely marketed towards women but, more, women are often portrayed as being <a href=\"https:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/socimages\/2008\/04\/08\/home-made-simple-squad-women-take-joy-in-cleaning\/\" target=\"_self\">absolutely OVERJOYED at the prospect of cleaning<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, Ripa is <em>thrilled <\/em>at the fact that a man spilled red wine on her white table cloth. \u00a0She is <em>so pumped<\/em> that he has given her an opportunity to use her washing machine, that she <em>cannot wait. <\/em> She\u00a0literally sweeps the table cloth out from under the party so that she can wash it <em>immediately<\/em>. \u00a0And she is <em>so excited<\/em> that she invites the entire dinner party to partake, managing to communicate, in the process, her <em>absolute adoration<\/em> for Tide. \u00a0I don&#8217;t know about you, but this is what it&#8217;s like at my house.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><object width=\"480\" height=\"385\" classid=\"clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000\" codebase=\"http:\/\/download.macromedia.com\/pub\/shockwave\/cabs\/flash\/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0\"><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\" \/><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\" \/><param name=\"src\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/mfEMW0sXwiw?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US\" \/><param name=\"allowfullscreen\" value=\"true\" \/><\/object><\/p>\n<span class=\"ft_signature\"><em><a href=\"http:\/\/lisa-wade.com\/\">Lisa Wade, PhD<\/a> is an Associate Professor at Tulane University.
