Morgan. It depicts him on his favorite horse, Black Bess. The inscription is &#8220;Gen. John H. Morgan and His Bess.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/socimages\/files\/blogger2wp\/lexingtonm.JPG\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5143301938843073554\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/socimages\/files\/blogger2wp\/2lexingtonm.JPG\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s what&#8217;s interesting about this: Bess, as you might guess, was a mare &#8212; a female horse. \u00a0The statue, however, has testicles. You\u00a0can see them in the picture below.
