All three models are show in size 27 jeans, which generally are equivalent to about a size 4 (though of course, <a href=\"https:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/socimages\/2010\/10\/06\/vanity-sizing\/\" target=\"_self\">sizes vary greatly<\/a>) &#8212; certainly <a href=\"https:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/socimages\/2010\/07\/19\/contrasting-aesthetics-for-high-end-and-commercial-models\/\">larger than the average runway model<\/a>, but still very small.<\/p>\n<p>Question: does anyone have examples of non-White <em>men<\/em> depicted as uniquely or systematically &#8220;curvy,&#8221; or is this applied only to women?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hope and Kristi P. sent in another example of the way the idea of a &#8220;curvy&#8221; shape is associated with non-White bodies.
