Their win, however, as <a href=\"http:\/\/yglesias.thinkprogress.org\/2010\/11\/the-changing-electorate\/\" target=\"_blank\">Matthew Yglesias<\/a> puts it, doesn&#8217;t simply reflect the &#8220;national mood.&#8221;\u00a0 Instead, it was partly a reflection of a shift in the demographics of the voters who turned out.
