In the theme of selling everything <\/em>with sex<\/a>, I present Del Monte’s “fruit undressed”<\/a> campaign.\u00a0 First I saw this along the side of a webpage I was perusing (for you, readers, for you):<\/p>\n

Damn it; I clicked.\u00a0 The product is, like, a reinvented fruit cocktail:<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It’s being marketed with these ads suggestively suggesting that the fruit is nude:<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Notice that that last one is referencing Mardi Gras.\u00a0 Flash those pineapples, baby!<\/p>\n

But don’t get too cocky, the ad campaign reminds us, you still look fat in clothes and should be horribly insecure about it:<\/p>\n
