There is really no paradox is there if we are honest...the ideological differences between the Democrats and the Republicans are matters of easily researched history...
When any black person joins the GOP and sits "silently" concerning the reality of powerful racist influences within the party and moreover distorts the racist history of the GOP (post 1965) they define themselves not as torn between legitimate difficult choices but as crass low-class in fact opportunist....?
Colin Powell and even Ms Rice once the two most celebrated Black Republicans both never balked or choked when discussing the racist history of the GOP
Only when the current crop of fast tracking Black Republicans stand up and tell the truth about the lingering racism in high positions within the GOP will they have credibility within the Black community and the nation in fact
