He forgot to add: the first time as\u00a0<em>tragedy<\/em>, the second time as\u00a0<em>farce<\/em>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>If you will permit\u00a0me a bit of literary license, Charlottesville was a\u00a0<em>tragedy;\u00a0<\/em>President Trump&#8217;s reprehensible responses to that event were a\u00a0<em>farce.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Nothing that President Trump has done since the Inauguration has so exposed\u00a0that he has a cancer of the soul, something he is inflecting upon our nation. That he sits in the same White House\u00a0that was once occupied by Abraham Lincoln is an indelible stain that we shall never expunge.<\/p>\n<p>Even if the American people eventually remove Trump from office, we will never again\u00a0be the same.
