George Packer&#8217;s recent anthology resuscitates the prickly social critic for contemporary readers. Finally,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Darkwater-Voices-Within-Thrift-Editions\/dp\/0486408906\/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1398269232&amp;sr=1-1&amp;keywords=dark+water+voices+from+within+the+veil\"><em>\u00a0Dark Water<\/em>\u00a0<\/a>by W.E.B. DuBois. Written in 1920, it was 75 years ahead of its time.
