Going beyond the history of Native peoples\u2019 first encounters with Europeans, the films highlights the continued racism and disenfranchisement communities continue to face to this day. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/prod3.agileticketing.net\/websales\/pages\/info.aspx?evtinfo=364735~163a5c15-c3ae-4635-ba12-bbe995cbeb29&amp;epguid=6a267806-cc78-4ea9-a89a-7d6b1a83dc49&amp;\"><b>Hitler\u2019s Hollywood<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hitler\u2019s Hollywood <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">examines the Third Reich\u2019s infatuation with Hollywood cinema and its deliberate attempts to emulate it. The film is based on the novel by one of Canada\u2019s most famous indigenous authors, Richard Wagamese.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/prod3.agileticketing.net\/websales\/pages\/info.aspx?evtinfo=365337~163a5c15-c3ae-4635-ba12-bbe995cbeb29&amp;epguid=6a267806-cc78-4ea9-a89a-7d6b1a83dc49&amp;\"><b>Ohiyesa: The Soul of an Indian<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ohiyesa <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is the the story of George Eastman, a renowned lecturer, physician and Native American rights activist. In this film, Eastman\u2019s descendents, including MN alum Kate Beane, document his life and the impressive legacy he leaves today. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/prod3.agileticketing.net\/websales\/pages\/info.aspx?evtinfo=365860~163a5c15-c3ae-4635-ba12-bbe995cbeb29&amp;epguid=6a267806-cc78-4ea9-a89a-7d6b1a83dc49&amp;\"><b>Risking Light<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Risking Light <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is filmmaker Dawn Mikkelson\u2019s in-depth exploration of forgiveness. From Cambodia to Australia, the film examines how people can forgive the seeming unforgivable, including two survivors of Australia\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">lost generation<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With hundreds of films to choose from, the next two weeks are sure to be a cinephile&#8217;s dream.
