Check it all out, over at <a href=\"http:\/\/girldrive.blogspot.com\/\">GIRLdrive<\/a>. Here&#8217;s what I like about this blog:<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a platform for their <a href=\"http:\/\/girldrive.blogspot.com\/2008\/01\/project.html\">forthcoming book<\/a> from Seal.<\/p>\n<p>Their blog&#8217;s tagline, &#8220;roadtripping america, mapping out feminism,&#8221; is a great example of a tagline that nails it.<\/p>\n<p>Their &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/girldrive.blogspot.com\/2008\/06\/mid-week-maintenance-virgin.html\">Mid-Week Memo&#8221;<\/a> feature covers timely topics and interesting projects they&#8217;re involved in around issues like women and the arts, mentoring teenage girls, intergenerational conversations, and other juicy tidbits from the feminist frontier.<\/p>\n<p>The<a href=\"http:\/\/ny.metro.us\/metro\/local\/article\/Road_trip_to_feminisms_meaning\/9748.html\"> press <\/a>their project has generated.<\/p>\n<p>And, of course, the fact that they profiled my dear friend in Wyoming, <a href=\"http:\/\/girldrive.blogspot.com\/2007\/10\/jackson-hole-wy.html\">Shelby.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Do visit them over at <a href=\"http:\/\/girldrive.blogspot.com\/\">GIRLdrive<\/a> and see for yourself.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two of my favorite 23-year-old bloggers, artist\/photographer Emma Bernstein and writer Nona Willis-Aronowitz, have made some major changes to their blog of late, and I love what they&#8217;ve done with the place.
