The trend is so big that it may rein in the world population&#8217;s exponential growth, perhaps even causing it to stop growing altogether over the next century. But exactly why families are shrinking is a mystery.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Hmmm&#8230;Well, <span style=\"font-style:italic\">why<\/span> may be a mystery, but what it&#8217;s <span style=\"font-style:italic\">like <\/span>ain&#8217;t.  More on that, of course, in <a><span style=\"font-style:italic\"><\/span>the book<\/a> \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Advert over.<\/p>\n<p>(<a href=\"www.mollywear.net\/pet_charms.htm\">Image cred<\/a>&#8211;oddly, a site for pets!
