I honestly truly do!)  <\/p>\n<p>Yesterday, Marci Alboher of <a href=\"http:\/\/shiftingcareers.blogs.nytimes.com\/\">NYTimes blog Shifting Careers<\/a> fame <a href=\"http:\/\/shiftingcareers.blogs.nytimes.com\/2007\/11\/07\/chris-anderson-is-my-hero\/\">posted an excellent list<\/a> of &#8220;Do&#8217;s&#8221; and &#8220;Don&#8217;ts&#8221; for publicists&#8211;aka other authors&#8217; publicists&#8211;who seek her attention.  Marci is my hero.  It&#8217;s really a very good list.<\/p>\n<p>(Note: Marci&#8217;s post is inspired by Wired magazine editor and book author Chris Anderson&#8217;s, which has inspired <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2007\/11\/05\/technology\/05flacks.html?_r=1&amp;oref=slogin\">much ado<\/a>.
