{"id":1664,"date":"2009-06-25T11:04:58","date_gmt":"2009-06-25T16:04:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/girlwpen.com\/?p=1664"},"modified":"2009-06-25T11:04:58","modified_gmt":"2009-06-25T16:04:58","slug":"changing-the-face-of-fund-management-to-female","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/girlwpen\/2009\/06\/25\/changing-the-face-of-fund-management-to-female\/","title":{"rendered":"Changing the Face of Fund Management to FEMALE?!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"left\" src=\"http:\/\/tbn2.google.com\/images?q=tbn:4BZmaGRiTh2tAM:http:\/\/royeidelson.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/10\/wallstreet3.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>Well now isn&#8217;t this interesting: Just as we learn that the <a href=\"http:\/\/business.timesonline.co.uk\/tol\/business\/industry_sectors\/banking_and_finance\/article6571355.ece?token=null&amp;offset=12&amp;page=2\">world&#8217;s wealthy are losing faith in their fund managers<\/a>, we are also learning that the VAST MAJORITY of fund managers are&#8230;guess what, surprise surprise&#8230;white and male.\u00c2\u00a0 Perhaps it&#8217;s time to shake things up with a little (say it with me) di-ver-sity on Wall Street?\u00c2\u00a0 You think?\u00c2\u00a0 Come on boys, why not just give it a try.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/business.timesonline.co.uk\/tol\/business\/industry_sectors\/banking_and_finance\/article6571355.ece?token=null&amp;offset=12&amp;page=2\">a new report covered yesterday in the Times Online (UK),<\/a> almost half of the world&#8217;s 8.6 million wealthiest investors have lost confidence in their fund manager.\u00c2\u00a0 The report itself lays bare how the credit crunch has damaged people&#8217;s personal fortunes.\u00c2\u00a0 According to the article, &#8220;Investors&#8217;
