{"id":1365,"date":"2008-11-27T12:16:20","date_gmt":"2008-11-27T17:16:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/girlwpen.com\/?p=1365"},"modified":"2008-11-27T12:16:20","modified_gmt":"2008-11-27T17:16:20","slug":"i-love-a-parade","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/girlwpen\/2008\/11\/27\/i-love-a-parade\/","title":{"rendered":"I Love a Parade!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"left\" src=\"http:\/\/tbn0.google.com\/images?q=tbn:9wEQb-b-WYBZEM:http:\/\/marimilnardanceacademy.com\/yahoo_site_admin\/assets\/images\/Macys_Parade.134133438_std.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>I&#8217;ve always wanted to see the Thanksgiving Day parade here in NY up close, but have always managed to be away.\u00c2\u00a0 Until today!<\/p>\n<p>My dad and I got up and out and wandered into Central Park, then hopped a wall and accidentally (whoops) snuck through the barricades and actually found ourselves in the area where everyone in the parade lines up as it begins.\u00c2\u00a0 This is generally known by those who know me as &#8220;The Siegel Slip&#8221; (coined such by one Miss Courtney Martin, who has traveled with me quite a bit), and it wasn&#8217;t planned, I swear.\u00c2\u00a0 Anyway, we got some GREAT pics from very up close, which I&#8217;ll post sometime over the weekend&#8211;as soon as my dad can figure out how to send pictures from his new iPhone over the web.\u00c2\u00a0 It may be a while \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, sending the GWP community my wishes for a wonderful day!<\/p>\n<p>PS.
