Without her sharp-eyed and supportive editorial work, we&#8217;d be offering far less content on these pages &#8212; and what we could provide would be much sloppier and less readable. Together with web editor Jon Smajda, she&#8217;s also responsible for much of the\u00a0elegant design work and illustration you see\u00a0around the site.<\/p>\n<p>Associate editor Letta Page usually toils anonymously in her behind the scenes role as self-described editrix and language maven. Today, however, she&#8217;s featured in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.startribune.com\/lifestyle\/style\/146456415.html\">Minneapolis Star-Tribune <\/a>style section.\u00a0Letta&#8217;s style and positive energy shine through in her editorial work, but she&#8217;s <em>also<\/em> got killer fashion sense. Because\u00a0her contemporaries are rarely so passionate about\u00a0grammar,\u00a0diction, and\u00a0the (retro-cool) <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bartleby.com\/141\/\">Elements of Style<\/a>, she\u00a0suspects that our authors tend to picture her as\u00a0&#8220;the sort of editor who wears her\u00a0glasses on a chain.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Page is also passionate about intellectual property, ensuring that we don&#8217;t appropriate the work of photographers, writers, and artists without their permission.
