I have recently encounter a <em>CityLab<\/em> story that presents <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citylab.com\/equity\/2018\/06\/a-brief-history-of-the-us-census\/564110\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a visual history of the U.S Census<\/a>. The editors note,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The United States Justice Department is adding a highly contested <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citylab.com\/equity\/2018\/03\/the-census-will-add-a-citizenship-question\/556577\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">citizenship question<\/a> into the 2020 Census, which will likely lead to an undercount in places with undocumented workers and families.
