To be clear, <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/azizansari.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aziz Ansari <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">recently stated that his new series, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=6bFvb3WKISk\" data-rel=\"lightbox-video-0\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Master of None<\/span><\/i><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(which premiered November 6th on Netflix) is <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">not <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">simply <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Modern-Romance-Aziz-Ansari\/dp\/1594206279\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Modern Romance<\/span><\/i><\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Modern-Romance-Aziz-Ansari\/dp\/1594206279\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the book he wrote with sociologist <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ericklinenberg.com\/about\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eric Klinenberg<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) on the small screen. However, a recent <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vogue<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> review highlights how the show incorporates many of the ideas Ansari and Klinenberg present in their book. <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Master of None<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is brilliant, insightful, and hilarious, the perfect vehicle for Ansari to animate the ideas and sociological concepts that he wasn\u2019t quite able to make jump off the page earlier this year.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The show explores the dating world of New York City through the main character Dev, a 30-year-old actor. Readers of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Modern Romance <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will notice overlaps, including when Dev takes a cue from a study cited in the book\u2019s section, \u201cThe Effects of Non-Boring-Ass Dates,\u201d by flying a date to Nashville. He confronts questions about monogamy when a woman wants to hook up with him to get back at her husband.
