With little known about the political leanings of anti-vaxxers, many politicians are carefully toeing the line to avoid alienating potential voters. In\u00a0a recent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.startribune.com\/lifestyle\/health\/291020971.html\"><em>Star Tribune<\/em> article<\/a>, though, sociologist <a href=\"https:\/\/sociology.osu.edu\/people\/schwirian.2\">Kent Schwirian<\/a>\u00a0said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>There is a long history to the fight against vaccination, and it does seem to break down along liberal versus conservative lines.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Schwirian argues that political conservatives are more likely to be anti-vaxxers than their liberal peers.
