You’re a little late on the uptake seeing as this article is over a month old and OBE. But to further my argument that her rallying against objectification of beauty while going under the knife to beautify herself is just a tad hypocritical. Oh, and the blonde bomber hairdo…geesh guess au natural wasn’t getting enough attention.

Even IF she has had face work: so what? This would be – at the most – a “symptom” of a problematic overall system (to quote her own talk)… In any case: stop evaluating people based on their appearance!

SO great to finally hear someone speak about this. As a female, this is a large part of my world, and yet I have difficulty expressing this phenomenon, even to other girls who I know would be able to relate to it.

I agree with everything she was saying about women being sex objects.
Many women may not get the opportunities because of their weight, height,or physical appearance. Some women will look at a cover magazine with a super model and want their bodies to look the same. This may lead women to have an inferior complex about themselves.
