no. dressing up in clothes intended for women doesn't not make you a woman, and it doesn't stop you from being a man. that is something the model can feel/talk about, but not something we can speculate on. the idea that dressing 'femininely' is not something men can do is in itself really oppressive. what we wear does not determine our gender identity. sometimes our gender identity affects what we wear. but sometimes people just like wearing dresses and makeup. it has nothing to do with their gender and as a society it's our responsibility to -not- insist that it does.

I'll explain some more what I mean: Have I met women that look very male and men who look very female ? Yes. But they fall into two categories: Either they identify as genderqueer/genderfuck and are at the very camp/very butch end of the spectrum of sexuality/gender portrayal (at the ends of the spectrum these two often, but not always intersect) or they try to 'correct' the misgendering by others through clothing and in the case of women often through makeup (for an example check out e.g. the politician Andrea Fischer on google images). Stav doesn't 'correct' his misgendering in any way. So I don't think he's cisgender.

Why don't you care to check BMI lists and PROVE that he's not underweight? If you don't see that he's severely underweight, I def can't help you.
I disagree. I've gone through the archive of the tumblr etc and he always looks female. At that end of the spectrum I don't think cisgender is possible. Especially since he does not do anything to appear more male.

I'm afraid you're only reasserting things you haven't actually argued for. Telling me that there's "a vast literature" on a six-year occupation that ended 60 years ago doesn't constitute an argument. What does the literature claim? How does American "cultural hegemony" manage to oppress an entire nation with a history of serious hegemonic tendencies of its own?

Finally, how does that compare to the null hypothesis that Straskho is just a model with an unusual and expectation-defying look that goes well with an ad for an ostensibly unusal and expectation-defying car?
