Dr. Kimmel is among the leading researchers and writers on men and masculinity in the world. He is the author or editor of more than twenty volumes and over 100 articles and book chapters. He founded both the National Organization for Men Against Sexism and Men and Masculinities, an interdisciplinary scholarly journal. He is professor at Stony Brook University, a regular consultant for government agencies, and delivers dozens of public lectures each year.
