Yes. I wasn't trying to be negative. Just that usually a plain 'link' style post goes somewhere (ie, to a substantive post from the primary source), even if it doesn't offer its own commentary. I guess this belongs to the post category I would call 'place holder', ie, here's an interesting topic we should do a post on soon.

I see this criticism again and again here at Soc. Images, and I'm not unsympathetic to it's underlying complaint. Still, to say a post doesn't go far enough, or address the particular issue in a detailed enough way, is not the same to me as being "content-free."

The content here seems to me: Although we tend to focus on larger, "macro" issues, the "micro" factors also play a large role in the quality of life in a community, a role which we ought not to ignore.

So, how is that "content-free?" Again, I understand that it might seem incomplete and somewhat inadequate, leading to a lack of pointed conversation about it, but that does not render it utterly bereft of content simply because it hasn't met your standard.

To draw an analogy, you might not like Country Western music, or you might have an issue with the representations found in Pop music or some commercial Hip-hop music. But to say it's not music seems nonsensically insulting to me...

I suspect there is no commentary on this post because the post is content-free, as is the video clip except for the suggestion that the book may contain some insights.
