Why don’t you ask the people who founded the breast cancer and prostate cancer awareness foundations why they chose those specific colors. Because that’s totally something more important to be stressing over and I’m sure they’ll reply with genuine concern.

Although I agree with you that liking pink doesn’t make you less of a feminist, and I personally don’t feel that all of the above products are actually gendered based on their color, I think the Snuggy boxes sum up the issue perfectly-the pink Snuggy has a picture of a girl talking on the phone and the blue Snuggy has a picture of a boy with a video game controller. The advertisments are very subtley perpetuating these ridiculous roles-I personally don’t like pink, but that’s not my issue with the ads. If they had that girl in a pink Snuggy playing World of Warcraft or something, I would be less offended.
