A Polish porn site currently includes a breast health awareness feature that involves manipulating a model’s breasts with a mouse. The originators of the idea argue that the feature teaches men how to do breast exams. In addition to cyber-molesting a picture of a porn star, you can click on links to learn more about breast cancer detection.
The rationale for this is: “Men are big kids and they learn best when playing.” So, men cannot be expected to learn about breast cancer detection through non-pornographic means, nor through pure information transfer, because they are “horny children” who need hands-on experience to retain new knowledge. The feature, then, manages to negatively stereotype men at the same time that it objectifies women and reduces concern about breast cancer to concern about boobies.
